finally, something to look forward to

On Tuesday next (that's Old English for those of you not in the know) Survivalist Bear Grylls will be accompanied by comedian and actor Will Ferrell on an adventure in some "ice-bound Swedish mountain ranges" on Man vs. Wild. (Discovery Channel, 10 p.m. EDT)

I think it's sad that the only thing I have to look forward to in life is a television program where I can watch Will Ferrell drink urine and eat reindeer eyeballs. But there it is.

Are you kidding me? No. You wouldn't kid me about something like that. Right?
I love me some Will Ferrell and can't wait to see Land of the Lost. And I do like Bear, I really do, but let's face it; he is no Les Stroud.

Some people just don’t appreciate what a fortunate life they’re leading. All I’ve got to look forward to is keeping Angelina Jolie sexually satisfied. And Steve of course.

Marchelle, no, I would never joke about something so monumental. Please call me at about 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday to remind me that it's on.

Simon, I suppose I am fortunate to have satellite television, and I'm able to watch about one program a year of my choice. Yes, that's right - I'm living life. When I stand in judgment in the afterlife and am asked what I did with my time on earth, I can proudly proclaim, "Well...there was that special on the Discovery channel."

Gotta love the Bear.

Though he never seems to enjoy what he eats in the wild I am sure he'll do a better job of it than Ferrell.

I'm sure that there is more to look forward to than that!

Donna, can I please have whatever you're on? You are incredibly upbeat.

Barnesm, true. I'm intrigued by what the interaction between the two of them will be like. And I'll probably wonder if at any point Bear considered pushing Will off a mountain.

Lerm, of course there is. I was just having a moment, and am currently restructuring my quality of life. I think we can call this week (and yesterday in particular) a catalyst for change.

Darn. I missed it. Was too busy falling asleep during "House" I guess.
