In keeping with a theme
Johnny Depp is starring in a film about John Dillinger (one of my lifelong anti-heroes). The film is scheduled to open in theaters on July 1, 2009, and is called Public Enemies.

My friend Heather's grandma (great-grandma? can't remember....) dated John Dillinger. Heather lives in Mooresville, and she was freaking out a few months back when he was there at the boyhood home of Dillinger. If I remember correctly, a family member still lives in the house and Johnny Depp went to meet him, but it was like 6:30 in the morning or something???
Try searching their local paper's archives, I read several articles they ran about it! I want to say they filmed a few scenes in Mooresville, too.

Oh, and I forget to say (on this blog) that I knew John Dillinger's cousin. We visited him in Florida when I was a child.

Johnny Depp is the one man that it is uderstood that if the chance arises, The Geek is allowed to have sex with him.
I'm just saying, he seemed to be getting stereotyped into a role of gay pirates. Although, technically, Dillinger was a pirate of sorts. Did he have a knack for polishing the knobs of other men? If so, Depp is in like Flynn.
